1. Preparation before operation ‌

Equipment inspection‌

Confirm the sharpness of the blade (replace if the wear exceeds 2mm);

Check the lubricating oil level, and regularly add lithium-based grease to the bearing parts;

Tighten all bolts, especially the blade fixing bolts, which must meet the torque standard of 50N·m; ‌

Environment confirmation‌

Clean up debris within a radius of 3 meters, and ensure that there are no hard objects such as metal/stones in the feeding area;

The ground slope should be less than 5°, and diesel models should pay attention to ventilation and CO prevention Accumulation;

II. Safety operation specifications ‌

Personal protection‌: Must wear ANSI standard goggles and noise-proof earmuffs (>85dB environment) ‌

Feeding control‌:

Branches with a diameter of >30% of the equipment calibration value must be pre-cut;

Adopt the "small amount and multiple times" principle, and the single feeding amount shall not exceed 60% of the feed port volume;

‌Abnormal handling‌:

Continuous vibration>2.5mm/s requires immediate shutdown;

Motor temperature rise exceeds 65℃, forced cooling should be started;

III. Daily maintenance points

Daily: Clean the blades, wipe the residual sap with alcohol

Weekly: Check the transmission belt, the deflection should be kept at 12-15mm

Monthly: Check the hydraulic system, the pressure fluctuation range is ±0.5MPa

IV. Seasonal maintenance ‌

Rainy season‌: Apply waterproof silicone grease to the circuit interface to prevent short circuit ‌

Winter‌: Diesel models need to replace -10# oil and drain the cooling water

V. Emergency handling of faults ‌

Blockage handling‌:

Immediately cut off the power and use a special through rod to clean in reverse;

It is forbidden to directly dig out the residue with your hands; ‌

Abnormal sound diagnosis‌:

Metal friction sound → Check the bearing clearance (should be <0.1mm);

Periodic knocking → Blade dynamic balance calibration;

VI. Safety warning

The locking device (LO/TO system) must be used during maintenance;

The stacking height of the crushed wood chips should not exceed 1.5 meters to prevent spontaneous combustion;

This guide summarizes the operating specifications of mainstream manufacturers at home and abroad. If detailed parameters of specific models are required, a technical white paper on equipment code query can be further provided. It is recommended to carry out professional maintenance every 200 working hours, which can extend the life of the equipment by more than 30%.
